YOUR ROLE

• Join the world’s largest provider of bonding, sealing and functional coating solutions
• Become a member of a dynamic and international global strategic marketing team that shapes key marketing, strategy and digital activities for Adhesive Technologies
• Drive digitalization across commercial and functional teams for data enabled strategy development and execution, and lead the development of a scalable Integrated Steering system for all business units as part of the Adhesive Data & Analytics Platform, one of the most visible and important programs underpinning Adhesive Technologies' digital transformation
• Establish the digital twin for Adhesives business strategy combining diverse data sources to establish the common semantical layer for all business units and functions
• Drive development of data-based services for multiple applications by leveraging cloud technology, data engineering and web-based front-end technology
• Pioneer new functionality for the Adhesives Data Analytics Platform, e.g. Writeback into the data lake and reusable high code components for Integrated Steering applications, that will be leveraged by thousands of users across Adhesives Technologies
• Actively participate in cross-functional teams using agile methods to deliver high quality data products at a fast pace
• Establish yourself as a reliable, creative, and positive partner across business to enable and identify data potential and extend and deepen your knowledge by strong collaboration within the team

YOUR SKILLS

• Master’s degree in a computer science, engineering, or other STEM field from top-tier university
• At least 5 years of relevant experience within IT and/or Strategy projects
• Extensive hands-on experience in the MS Azure data ecosystems; covering data ingestion, data modeling, and data provisioning to consumers and downstream systems as well as application development; knowledge of Palantir Foundry is a plus
• Entrepreneurial mindset to show the capability of leading own ideas, actively challenging or empowering ideas of the strategy department
• Team player with high level of motivation and ability to act and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong stakeholder and change management skills which enable you to act as a sparring partner to senior leaders and secure alignments and clear decision-making process
• A solution-oriented mindset and hands-on approach to tackle challenges
• Coding skills in relevant languages (e.g. SQL, Python, JavaScript). Experience in ETL/ELT design and distributed computation frameworks (e.g. Azure Synapse, Spark, Data Bricks) as well as frontend frameworks such as Angular
• Fluent in English; German language skills are beneficial
