Human Resources Generalist - Fixed Term Contract (6 months)

YOUR ROLE

  • Provide all-round HR operational and administrative support, including but not limited to talent acquisition and development, organisational change, compensation and benefits and training.
  • Interface with people managers and employees on HR operational and system related topics/issues.
  • Coordinate and assist with onboarding to exit, the recruitment and selection process.
  • Be the contact for general HR topics for all Beauty Care and Laundry teams, and escalate topics as required.
  • Assist with maintaining HR Governance, execution and participation in HR projects and the roll out of local, regional and global initiatives.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities such as Diversity and Inclusion week, Christmas party and other ad hoc events, activities such as the internal ‘Culture Club’ activities.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Tertiary qualification in HR/Business or related field is preferred.
  • Experience working in a generalist HR environment, with a strong understanding of HR policy and processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a diverse client group.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate confidently and clearly with a wide range of stakeholders on such issues as HR reporting, recruitment, conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Experience in providing timely and accurate advice to employees and managers in relation to human resource practices and procedures.
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Software.
