Job Summary:
The Logistics Steering Manager is a key position within Supply Chain Organization. The role has responsibility for supporting and optimizing all aspects of the customer experience as it relates to Logistics for all Henkel Beauty Professional.
Accountable for continuous improvement of processes across the Transportation and Warehousing teams. Industrial Engineer with Black Belt certification is preferred. Builds capability across the Henkel Beauty Professional.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Logistics Steering Manager will facilitate operational excellence in network design and delivery, logistics and performance management. The role is divided between strategic orientation and operational execution as required. The role will be required to achieve the following deliverables including but not limited to:
Project Management
•Manage warehousing, transportation projects including automation, network optimization, & continuous improvement.
•Support Beauty Professional warehousing, transportation capital investment strategy.
•Organize collaborative working sessions to generate new initiatives and track projects.
•Track and communicate results, provide executive updates.
Cost Savings
•Lead the development and execution of the Beauty Professional Logistics savings pipeline
•Create cost tracking and budget management tools
•Facilitate cost savings initiatives to include tracking and reporting results
•Collaborate with cross-functional groups to identify and execute new cost savings projects
KPI Design and Management
•Design and implement logistics process improvements that deliver in key areas like Delivery/OTIF, Savings, and Safety
•Create automated KPI reporting capabilities using Power BI with intuitive functionality and executive level design
•Create automated solutions for manual reports including various system data pulls (SAP, Billing Reports, WMS, TPS or any other Transportation Management system we may operate
