YOUR ROLE

  • The Technical Customer Service group is responsible for developing applications knowledge with respect to Henkel Adhesive Industrials markets and new products that ensures the products, as manufactured, can be successfully employed by Henkel Adhesive Industrials customers in a manner that brings value to our customers which is clear and identifiable.
  • The role of the Technical Customer Service Engineer is to recommend products for new applications at customers, assist in the qualification of the products at the customer’s production line and assist with troubleshooting at customers on an as needed basis.
  • The individual should ensure that the evaluated products function effectively in customer’s applications and processes. In order to do this he needs to ensure that he has a good knowledge of the latest developments in the application and product areas relevant to his area of expertise.

YOUR SKILLS

  • University level education or higher degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Preferably hands-on experience within the electronic industry and/or film materials, in a technical service or manufacturing role e.g. experience with circuit assembly / semiconductor production line
  • Knowledge in application techniques like printing, dispensing, jetting, soldering or other material application techniques is an asset
  • Recognized industry expert in various processes, applications and product technologies for target markets and customers
  • Demonstrated track record of successful implementation of quality and/or process improvements at customers
  • Good communication and team working skills, able to work in an international working environment
  • Demonstrated project and team leadership skills through cross functional team success
  • Must be able to converse and write reports in English
  • Must be prepared to travel (40% throughout Europe and occasionally globally)
